*| secrets: She's afraid of falling in love, she's deathly afraid of the dark, though no one knows it
*| personality: Alexia is that sweet, innocent goody-two-shoes girl that everyone likes and acts like she's some sweet little child that always gets what she wants. But that's only her exterior, she really sees things for what or who they are and just tries to be that perfect girl everyone sees her for. Everyone knows her, so she has to act like that all the time, twenty-four seven, and the only real time she can be herself is when she is alone.
When she's herself, she's a bubbly girl, quiet, with curious eyes and a fragile, sensitive nature. You can easily hurt her without even really saying anything wrong, she just takes it too seriously. Call her beautiful, she becomes self-concious. Anything mean, she'll probably just shut her mouth and look down for the rest of the conversation.
----I WAITED EIGHT LONG MONTHS----
…she finally set him free…!
…she finally set him free…!
*| history: She was born in Seattle, though she moved to Forks with her mother when her father had left them out of the blue. She wasn't upset, he wasn't nice to her brother or herself, but she wasn't happy her father just disappeared.
When she was ten and her brother was twelve, the two siblings were hanging around the pool outside their house when Ayden pushed her into the pool. Alexia hit her head on the side of the pool and was knocked unconscious - she was in the hospital for a few days, and has never gone into the pool since then.
She is now a junior in high school and is rather popular, everyone likes her, or at least what they think she is. A cookie-cutter good girl, though she is actually very lost and broken on the inside, who she really is. It's hard to see it, but sometimes, you see glimpses of the sadness in her eyes, the glazed, depressed look in her eyes.
*| roleplay sample: NOTE: from a different roleplay. i hope this is alright.
Santana didn't notice the other lioness at first, but when she felt the sting of a glare, her head swung towards the feline. Her amber eyes widened in surprise, and her instincts made her back away slowly, like a child would back away from a scary movie, or an intimidating bully. But she saw the longing in her eyes, for company, for comfort. And Santana, through whatever told her to respond positively, nuzzled the lioness in return. It was nothing personal, nothing too special - just a small movement of her head, brushing her chin on the stranger's muzzle.
Then, her eyes opened, and she backed away again, huddling by the rough, dry bark of the dying tree. Her ears flattened in some sort of intimidation, her eyes showing fear and cautiousness. Not one bit of anger or aggression showed, nor did she feel any.The lioness was bigger than her, and older, by the looks of it.
Her ears swiveled up again when she heard the shriek and growling of another creature. No, creatures. Two, a male lion and a buffalo that seemed to be on the short end of the stick. She frowned, a bit hurt to see an animal being hunted. She had done it so many times before, and each one affected her emotionally. Many teased her about this, calling her weak and spineless, saying that she didn't have any reason to be so saddened by a simple hunt. But these animals, they didn't do anything to deserve their life being taken from them. That was why she preferred to eat the dates off of trees here and there, as well as developing the will the keep her appetite small and not having to eat a day at a time.
She turned to look at the male. Handsome, and young, like herself. The lioness tilted her head, her stomach growling when she saw the fresh prey. But she couldn't go over there, she had to admit that the male scared her a bit, the way he hunkered over his prey and snarled at the two of them. She looked at her new acquaintance, flashing a small smirk in just slight amusement. She crept towards her, ever so slowly, and sat down in front of her, her tail curling around her paws.
"I'm Santana,"
Her voice was a bit high, but it was expected, she was young. It was a welcoming greeting. It was very, very uncommon to give her name to someone she didn't know, but she automatically trusted the stranger. Something about her reassured her that she wouldn't do any harm to the young lioness. She then turned to the male, a surge of confidence running through her veins. Her head raised, confident and sure, and she stood up, her haunches high and her tail swaying being her. She trotted over to the lion, sitting just a few feet away from him again. She was well aware of the danger she was in, but for some reason she wasn't afraid.
Well, not that she could feel at the moment.
